Construction update Havelaarstraat Colijnsplaat: 4 homes nearing completion

At Havelaarstraat 21 in Colijnsplaat, four new homes are being built on a former barn site — all four already sold before completion.

The exterior is now nearly finished: facades, roof and window frames are in place. Inside, of course, plenty of work remains; interior finishing will continue over the coming period.

van der Post & Dek is developing this project together with Fraanje (also acting as contractor) and with builder Rianthuis. On the site of an old barn, four life-cycle-proof homes are being delivered, numbered 21a to 21d. The homes are fully gas-free and achieve energy label A+++ — sustainable, energy-efficient and suitable for every stage of life.

Sales are handled by Boot Makelaardij from Kortgene. The project shows that redevelopment of inner-village sites in Zeeland works. A vacant barn site in Colijnsplaat is being transformed into four quality homes — compact, considered, and realised with local partners.
